Justin Rosen from Reimbursement Specialists Inc (RSI) is excited to be presenting unique employee benefit strategies which allow employers more control over their healthcare costs.
The first strategy is known as the “Participating Funding Arrangement” (PFA). This strategy works in concert with your mainstream fully insured health plans by creating a split funded solution that allows employers to have control over their premium costs, plan design and contributions.
The second strategy is known as the Medical Opt-Out Program. This program supports both fully insured, self-funded plans, and your overall employee benefit offering. This program is designed to create a healthcare specific financial incentive for employees to opt-out of the health plan and go onto another coverage (typically a spouses’/partners’ plan). This has a direct dollar for dollar premium savings to the employer and provides an important benefit to people who have higher healthcare expenses which results in a win-win dynamic to the employees and the employer.
